How to request deletion of your AI4AI data
You can delete your data from AI4AI — Academic Institute For Artificial Intelligence, operated by mAIb Tech LLC, at any time, in two ways. (1) In the app: open the Profile tab → Settings, and tap "Reset / Delete my data". This signs you out and clears your data on the device. (2) To permanently delete your account and all server-side data, email support@maib.io with the subject line "Delete my data". Because AI4AI accounts are anonymous by default, please include any account identifier shown under Profile → Settings (if available) so we can locate your records. We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account we remove: your anonymous account and identifier; your profile and preferences (role, interests, reading-level); your learning activity (lessons completed, quiz results, XP, streaks, certificates); and the prompts, posts, comments, votes, and saved items you created.
What may be kept
Content you chose to publish publicly (for example, a prompt you shared to the Vault) that other users have already copied or forked may continue to exist independently of your account. We may also retain aggregated, de-identified analytics that can no longer be linked to you, and a minimal set of records we are legally required to keep for security, fraud-prevention, or compliance — only for as long as the law requires.
How long it takes
Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup-rotation cycle, within 90 days. Questions about deleting your data? Contact mAIb Tech LLC at support@maib.io.
